Is Your Immune System Strong Enough To Fight COVID-19?

Is Your Immune System Strong Enough to Fight COVID-19 Coronavirus_

The stockpiling began weeks ago and currently the number of infections is still on the rise. We’re officially quarantined outside “essential personal activities.”

Safe to say even those living under a rock are well aware of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

What’s your plan of action against it? Sure, go ahead and stock up on hand soap and water, but what’s your plan to actually FIGHT the virus (or any other virus for that matter) if need be?

I truly believe it’s important to take this quarantine time to think about how your best line of defense is holding up. And no, I’m not talking about that paper face mask…

Just a little thing called your immune system. 😷

Are you supporting it or inhibiting it on a daily basis?

Did you know constantly spiking your blood sugar will impair your immune system function by reducing white blood cell activity? You may want to double check those items you’re stockpiling…

Not sure what some of those food label ingredients are? It’s very possibly sugar.

Sugar has about 56 names it can be listed under, rest assured this is by design so it doesn’t have to be listed as one of the first few ingredients – because who reads them all anyway? You should!

Sugar spikes will keep your cortisol hormone level high. Cortisol has many jobs, but you definitely don’t want it working round the clock.

One of its jobs? Shutting down your immune response!

Translation: Catching a virus goes from being a minor annoyance to something more serious your body cannot fight off.

Look at it like going into battle… Your immune system is your army against things like the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

What you’re stockpiling is how you are arming your defenses.

Do you want it armed to the teeth, or do you want it going into battle wearing handcuffs?

With that said, we’ve been speaking to people lately who either 1) know their sugar consumption isn’t helping, but can’t seem to stop, or 2) had no idea they were hurting their defense system with it.

If either of those sounds like you and you’re ready to make a change, contact us or send us a PM to see how one of our programs can help you boost your immunity and win the battle against COVID-19.

And FYI here’s some of the many names for sugar to look out for on those food labels…

Agave Nectar, Barley Malt Syrup, Beet Sugar, Brown Rice Syrup, Brown Sugar, Cane Crystals, Cane Sugar, Coconut (Palm) Sugar, Corn Sweetener, Corn Syrup (Solids), Dehydrated Cane Juice, Dextrin, Dextrose, Evaporated Cane Juice, Fructose, Fruit Juice Concentrate, Glucose, High-Fructose Corn Syrup, Honey, Invert Sugar, Lactose, Maltodextrin, Malt Syrup, Maltose, Maple Syrup, Molasses, Palm Sugar, Raw Sugar, Rice Syrup, Saccharose, Sorghum (Syrup), Sucrose, Syrup, Treacle, Turbinado Sugar, Xylose (and more).
